Bobby BlackJack

View Articles

Bobby is an entertainment veteran, having entertained crowds as a professional DJ for over 20 years in and around Northern New Jersey, New York City and Las Vegas.

After a successful run in the corporate world upon his graduation from Seton Hall University, the creative energies from within took over his life. After a brief attempt to manage the careers of several actors/actresses, he quickly realized that HE was the one who should be both managed and mentored in the entertainment industry.

An avid listener of sports radio in NYC, Bobby began to develop "show" concepts based on the sports radio model. First came Talking Movies Coast 2 Coast, a movie/entertainment radio show that he tried out for a year. TMC2C is to be reborn as an entertainment blog-site.

But his original idea was a football-only talk show.

With football being the number one sport in America and its scope and viability now year-round, he launched Talking Football LIVE(TFL). TFL is a fan-centric, year-round football show feeding off of the millions of football fans who crave both information on their favorite teams and players AND the desire to talk about on-going developments surrounding them. TFL started as a one-hour show and Bobby quickly saw the need to grow it into a two-hour show.

Bobby brings the same zest and energy that he's developed from years behind the mic and turntables to TFL. He truly loves to entertain. He is a die-hard New York Giants and Notre Dame football fan and avidly follows the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is also a credentialed media member for the New York Giants.

Dan Rigano

View Articles

Dan Rigano doesn't write books, do radio appearances, or have any access to the players or coaches of the New York Giants. The closest he's ever gotten to his favorite team is a few chance encounters: his dad once met LT on the NJ Turnpike, his brother once sold Ernie Acorsi an iPod, and Dan himself met Tiki Barber back before he decided to turn heel and work with Matt Lauer. Nevertheless, Dan has been a passionate and vocal Giants fan for his entire life, and he's eager to voice his opinions on everything from Marvin Austin's disruptive potential to Eli Manning's comedic timing. Dan is a graduate of The Richard Stockton College of NJ, and he earned his Masters degree from Rowan University in 2005. He currently lives in Jersey City, and he's already scoping out college prospects for Big Blue's 2013 draft. Seriously.

Kurt Backert

Kurt's passion for the game began in the 60's watching the Colts on TV and at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. He began following the statistics of not only his beloved Colts but also those of the Colts opponents, with a keen eye on Vince Lombardi's Packers. His thirst for and attention to statistical detail would eventually lead Kurt on a journey to the world of fantasy football in the late 1980's where he's captured more titles than John Wooden's UCLA Bruins
Kurt carries a distinction that no other fan of the NFL can boast about.  He is the reigning NFL National Trivia Champion and he credits his Dad for passing on such passion for the game, something Kurt also hopes to pass along to his 9-year-old son.

Justin Ford

Justin was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised with a football in his crib. He has also lived in Hartford, Connecticut, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Justin is an NFL Draft analyst and enthusiast.

Justin first began to love the idea of building a team through the draft from his father, Gary. When Justin was young and would watch football with his father, the announcer would say something like “That was all Thurman Thomas on that play.” His father would show him that it was actually the pulling guard and great down block by the tackle who made that play. Since then, Justin has been evaluating players for the draft, free agents and grading teams’ offseason moves.

Justin has a love and passion for all aspects of the game. From on the field play, to identifying value free agents, navigating the salary cap and mostly the NFL Draft. Justin will take his love for all facets of the game and make well informed opinions about your favorite teams’ future.

Justin currently works for CBS Radio and is a board operator at 106.7 The Fan, DC Sports.

Super Bowl winning teams are built in rounds 3 through 7.
